You are going to get back motorbikes early in the morning and head east from Nevada - Utah!

You will get a preview of the American contrast with a golf course in the middle of the desert. Then you'll leave the expressway and go inside the Dixie Forest with its varied landscapes that are home to marmots, prairie dogs, deer, bears and pumas.

On the way out of this forest, you will arrive at the Bryce Canyon area which you will enter. This park is often seen as the most beautiful and it will leave you speechless in the face of its beauty.

It's a real spectacle that you can't get tired of because of its pink, orange, red colors and their variation with the sun...

From Bryce Canyon to Moab

You're leaving Bryce Canyon, but that doesn't mean you're leaving nature and beautiful landscapes!

You reach the Capitol Reef National Park, which is without a doubt one of the wildest among American parks.

Remains of Indians who lived there in the first millennium rub shoulders with those of the pioneers who crossed the Capital Gorge at the end of the 19th century.

Erosion has given at this park a unique landscapes. Then, you continue on to the gates of the Arches National Park to settle in Moab, on the banks of the Colorado River.

Distance is 430 km (5 hours drive).

In the morning, you set off to discover the magnificent arches which has given to the park its name.

You will find one of these arches on the license plates of Utah cars - 2000 arches more than 10000 years old are waiting for you!

Depending on the time spent in the park, you will make a passage through The Dead Horse Point State Park whose the panorama is often compared to the Grand Canyon.

You take the road by the south with a short stop at Hole N' The Rock before heading to Bluff for the night.

Distance is 329 km (4 hours 30 minutes' drive, if you go through The Dead Horse Point).
Spend the night at the hotel.

5
Monument Valley and Flagstaff

This time you take the road thought the west to reach the Navajo country and Monument Valley.

Monument Valley is run by the Navajo - you'll find images of iconic westerns such as the Fantastic Ride with John Wayne in these landscapes.

The geological formations that you will admire there are particularly impressive.

After this stage, you continue to Flagstaff on Route 66, which will be your base for the next two nights. Flagstaff is in the Coconino National Forest, a huge pine forest.

Distance is 346 km (3 hours 35 minutes' drive).
Spend the night at the hotel.

6
Grand Canyon

A must-see place in the USA? the famous Grand Canyon!

This day begins with a stop on the superb Desert View road to reach the Grand Canyon Village.

This day is dedicated to this American jewel, the most visited in the United States.

7
Route 66

For this beautiful stage, you will take a route considered by many, as one of the most beautiful sections of the Route 66 via Peach Spring, Truxton and Kingsman.

You continue to west to Needles, not far from the Mohave Mountains. Needles was the location for The Grapes of Wrath and, more recently, for Into the Wild.

Some remains of the Route 66 era give to this small town a special atmosphere.

Spend the night at the hotel.

8
Toward Los Angeles via Joshua Tree National Park

This morning, you're leaving early for a long trip toward Los Angeles!

We've kept this day free for you to explore Los Angeles.

You'll probably be happy to leave the motorbikes behind to enjoy the city on foot.

Whether it is for the movie studios, the Malibu beach or Beverly Hills, everyone will find something to do in during this free day!

Spend the night at the same hotel in Los Angeles.

10
From Los Angeles to San luis Obispo

You pass by Santa Monica and the sign marking the end of Route 66, before ride along the coast via Malibu Beach.

Spend the night at the hotel.

11
The Pacific Coast Highway to San Francisco

One of the most beautiful roads, it runs along the seaside and offers fantastic landscapes.

You will also see a rather rich fauna between sea otters and elephant seals.

Be careful if you approach the latter on the beaches, they are big and... fast! The Route n°1 is a real pleasure that will take you to the magnificent city of San Francisco.

Distance is about 445 km (6 hours' drive).
Spend the night at the hotel.

12
San Francisco

You'll have plenty of time to enjoy this beautiful city where the American dream is never far away. Silicon Valley is located on the south of the bay.

It's up to you to see what you want to do during this day. You have choice among the Golden Gate, the famous Alcatraz prison, and the funiculars... I recommend the crab sandwich at Fisherman's Wharf!

Spend the night at the same hotel in San Francisco.

13
Yosemite

You leave San Francisco early to enjoy your destination, Yosemite Park, an oasis where pine trees mingle with giant redwoods amidst waterfalls and streams.

The park begins at an altitude of 600 m and reaches up to 4000 m, which gives it a vast diversity of flora and fauna. There are 75 species of mammals, 1500 plants and 250 species of birds.

After passing through Yosemite Park, you'll head south to Mammoth Lakes, a former mining town turned ski resort.

There are some beautiful walks to be done in the area.

Distance is about 419 km (5 hours 20 minutes' drive).
Spend the night at the hotel.

14
From Mammoth Lakes to Ridgecrest

You can take advantage of a later start to hike the trails around Mammoth Lakes such as Devils Postpile National Monument or Rainbow Waterfalls (3 km walk).

You continue your trip to the south along The Kings Canyon and The Sequoia National Park. Despite the lakes and mountainous surroundings, the area becomes more deserted as the Death Valley approaches.

Your evening stage, Ridgecrest, is surrounded by mountain ranges. Prehistoric hieroglyphics are found in abundance in the area.

Distances is about 288 km (2 hours 50 minutes' drive).
Spend the night at the hotel.

15
Death Valley and Las Vegas

Here you are for your last day of driving - you're leaving Ridgecrest for the famous Valley of Death.

You join small villages, one of which will give you a preview of your destination, I'm talking of course about Furnace Creek!

Then, you will pass by the north of the Nopah mountain range and you will cross the Red Rock Canyon to reach your starting city, Las Vegas!

Once you'll bring the motorbikes back in the agency, you can go to the casino to spend the money you didn't use during the trip to earn enough money to start again!
