Your day by day program
Arriving in Bastia, your day will take you on a tour of Cap Corse. You'll start off on the gentler coast, stopping off at Erbalunga and then Maccinaggio before tackling the crossing of the Cape. Then, via France's leading lobster fishing port, you'll follow the coastline and its cliffs, discovering some magnificent coves. You can stop off at Canari or Albo before reaching the island's most beautiful paoline tower and its black pebble beach. You'll soon come within sight of Corsica's wine capital, before reaching your evening stopover and its white sandy beaches.
Overnight in a three-star hotel in Saint-Florent.

Follow the guide through the Agriates, a protected area of outstanding beauty. You'll take one bend after another through some stunning scenery. You'll take little-known mountain roads through olive groves, lined with cactus and prickly pear. You'll reach typical little villages, and keep an eye out for cows, which will almost certainly be roaming free. The landscape will then take on a lunar and truly desert-like quality, before returning to the Balagne and offering you breathtaking scenery. Take a break in Belgodère on the village square in front of the church, before continuing on the craftsmen's route through some beautiful hilltop villages. Later, you'll reach Calvi, with its marina and imposing citadel.

You'll climb back up to the Palmarella pass, where the views are breathtaking. The descent continues between scrubland and cliffs, through a succession of small bends and charming villages where you'll want to take a coffee break! You'll soon catch sight of a superb little village by the sea.
You'll reach the famous Calanche de Piana and an ancient Greek-influenced village with numerous churches. You'll skirt the seafront before heading inland. Watch out for the pigs that can cross! You'll soon reach the chestnut capital and descend into the magnificent Gorges, where you're sure to come across herds of goats.

Overnight in a 3-star hotel in Porto.
That day, you'll reach a charming village known for its Genoese bridges and olive groves. You'll reach Corsica's highest road point. Then it's back down the winding road to the shores of a lake. The magnificent Scala di Santa Regina takes you almost all the way to Castagniccia, where the winding roads continue for many kilometres. You'll discover the famous Restonica Gorges before reaching your evening stopover.

Overnight in a three-star hotel in Corte
This day, you'll take Corsica's main artery through the Vizzavona forest, which offers splendid views. Once in Ajaccio, you can take a stroll through Napoleon's hometown and make your way to the Pointe des Sanguinaires, lined with beautiful white-sand beaches. You'll then take the coastal road back up through the eucalyptus trees to a former penitentiary before reaching the small villages of Taravo and your evening stopover.

Overnight in Propriano in a *** hotel
First stop: Sartène! You'll then continue on through more desert-like landscapes towards Bonifacio and its impressive cliffs. You'll pass some of the island's most beautiful beaches and climb back up to the heart of the island via the famous Aiguilles de Bavella. You will then descend into the Alta Rocca for the night.

Overnight in Zonza in a *** hotel
After a diversion to discover the splendid local villages, olive groves and ancient mills, you'll pass some splendid passes and see many free-roaming animals such as pigs and horses.
You'll pass through many forests and may even reach Ghisoni and its ‘ski resort’, before joining the road to the Inzecca gorge, then the plains and your evening stopover, Prunete.

Overnight in Prunete in a three-star hotel
You'll start the day with a foray into Castagniccia, a splendid green region. The hilltop villages are astonishing and offer beautiful panoramic routes. You will then drive around the Biguglia nature reserve and its pond, where pink flamingos are often seen.
The tour ends when you arrive in Bastia.
